About Us


Here at ExoCopters, we are a few very selective and dedicated workers focusing on bringing the customer highly customized multirotor platforms. Unlike our competitors, we don't only offer kits for purchase, but are willing to communicate with the customer to produce some of the most unique and finely tuned platforms out there. As our build page shows, we can accommodate all multirotor projects with a wide range of sizes and uses.

Currently, our team is able to take on orders and can have them operational from start to finish in as little as one month. During this time period, our team will work with the customer to ensure everything is accounted for and to their liking, in addition to tuning the multirotor. Our service doesn't just end there! After a multirotor has been sent to the customer, our team will still offer assistance in troubleshooting, with rebuilding, and of course, with additional orders.

About Multirotors


Multirotors can be lots of fun to fly, but they are not toys. Always make safety your highest priority. When working on your multirotor, whether configuring, testing, or calibrating, remember to always remove the propellers. Additionally, never attempt test flights in highly populated areas due to the possibility of crashing.

Multirotors are rapidly becoming an integral part of our daily lives with applications ranging from Commercial to Agricultural to Hobbyists. Please respect the hobby so that it can continue to flourish.

How They Work

As you may have already suspected, multirotors have multiple motors with horizontal propellers that produce downward thrust needed to fly and hover. The propeller blades are designed in pairs for clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation. By varying the speed of the motors, the multirotor craft can accelerate, hover, yaw, roll, and pitch in any direction. The brains of the multirotor is its flight controller which is connected to the receiver and translates the stick movements into the motor power combinations.

Multirotors use many components that can cause serious injuries...

It is recommended that you:
  • Perform all testing without any props installed.
  • Turn on your transmitter before your multirotor and disarm your multirotor before you turn off the transmitter - A multirotor that is on before its transmitter, is an out of control copter.
